Science Instruction: Within and Beyond the Boundaries of Tier One - 37475
Join ESC Region 11 for an in-depth look at Tier One instruction in science. The goal of this session is to define this instructional guideline using state-developed resources, such as TEKSguide and MTSS Frameworks. These documents will be reviewed and applied, along with Performance Level Descriptors and released STAAR questions.

Instructional Coaches/Support Specialists, Teacher - Elementary (Grades 1-5), Teacher - General Education, Teacher - High School (Grades 9-12), Teacher - Middle School (Grades 6-8), Central Office Administrators
Objectives
Using state-developed resources—including TEKSguide, MTSS Frameworks, Performance Level Descriptors, and released STAAR questions—K–12 science teachers, campus instructional coaches, and district leaders will formulate aligned Tier One instructional strategies to support high-quality science learning.
