Year 2 Science of Teaching Reading Leadership Cohort - 36851
Building on the foundation established in Year 1, the Science of Teaching Reading Leadership Cohort, Year 2, provides leaders the opportunity to dig deeper into the research and refine their implementation of evidence-based reading practices. This cohort will focus on strengthening instructional coherence, analyzing classroom practice through STR Class Walks, and using data to drive targeted professional learning and coaching. Participants will deepen their expertise in the Science of Teaching Reading while collaborating with peers to problem-solve, calibrate expectations, and sustain high-impact literacy practices that lead to improved outcomes for all students.

Participation in 2025-2026 STR Leadership Cohort Year 1
Objectives
Participants will refine their instructional leadership practices by conducting and debriefing STR Class Walks, calibrating expectations, and planning at least one follow-up professional learning or coaching support aligned to observed trends.
