Routines for Learning: Talk More, Read More, Write More in the Bilingual Classroom - 37115

Looking for a simple, high-impact instructional routine that can be used in any classroom? Talk, Read, Talk, Write is a powerful framework that integrates listening, speaking, reading, and writing into daily instruction while supporting emerging bilingual students in making sense of complex content across all subject areas. In this interactive session, participants will experience the TRTW routine as learners and explore how purposeful conversations, strategic reading, and authentic writing opportunities work together to deepen content understanding and strengthen literacy development. Educators will learn practical strategies for facilitating structured academic discussions, increasing student engagement and accountability, and scaffolding learning for emergent bilingual students. This session will be presented in English and Spanish. Bonus: Each participant will receive a complimentary copy of the Talk, Read, Talk, Write book to support implementation and continued learning.
