Aligning Bedrock and the Bilingual Grammar Curriculum: Practical Approaches to Differentiation, TEKS Alignment, and the Science of Teaching Reading Virtual - 36677

This two-day virtual training explores how the Bedrock Literacy Curriculum and the Bilingual Grammar Curriculum (BGC) work together to support language and literacy development for deaf and hard-of-hearing students. Participants will examine practical strategies for differentiating instruction while aligning classroom practices with TEKS standards and the Science of Teaching Reading framework. The training highlights how visually accessible, concept-based instruction builds the linguistic foundations necessary for reading comprehension and written expression. Educators will leave with concrete ideas for integrating Bedrock and BGC to strengthen language, grammar, and literacy outcomes for a variety of learners who are deaf or hard of hearing.
