SB IEP Process Training using the Blended Approach - 36638

This training is designed to support the Standards-Based Individualized Education Program (SB IEP) Blended Approach. This training is open to participating local educational agency (LEA) facilitators and education service center (ESC) SB IEP trainers and coaches as they prepare to plan, facilitate, and support implementation of the SB IEP Process Blended Approach within their LEAs and ESCs. This session also includes a review of the 2026-27 SB IEP course updates. During this training, LEAs and ESCs will: • Review updates for the 2026-27 SB IEP Process Training course design and content. • Examine the SB IEP Process Blended Approach Activity Guide, including required materials, key concepts, extension activities, discussion questions, and connections to LEA special education procedures and forms. • Discuss course scheduling, implementation, and instructional design considerations. • Review frequently asked questions. • Discuss follow-up coaching provided by ESC trainers/coaches, providing feedback on artifacts related to the Compliance and Quality Essential Elements for PLAAFP, Measurable Annual Goals, and Data Collection for Progress Monitoring.
