Science Academy for Grades 6-8: Day Four: Organisms and Environments - 36528

Join ESC Region 11 for an in-depth exploration of middle school science curriculum and instruction. On Day Four of the Science Academy, teachers will explore topics within the Organisms and Environments strand, applying them to the science and engineering practices (SEPs) and recurring themes and concepts (RTCs). Topics covered in this session will include energy flow in living systems, ecosystem disruption and recovery, symbiotic relationships, animal and plant structure and function, cells, basic genetics, natural and artificial selection, and classification of living things.
