An Overview of the Manifestation Determination Review (MDR) Process - 36339
The Manifestation Determination Review (MDR) is a critical process within the special education framework that safeguards the rights of students with disabilities. An MDR is the process of reviewing all relevant information and the relationship between a student's disability and the behavior subject to disciplinary action. An MDR is conducted by a team that includes a school representative, a parent, evaluation staff, and any "relevant members" of the student's IEP team.
Join us for an informative session that explores the MDR process and its significance in ensuring appropriate educational opportunities for students.
