Autism Lunch and Learn - Graphic Organizers and Behavior Contingency Maps Virtual - 36193
During this series, participants will dive into the world of behavior analysis and learn practical strategies to shape behavior effectively. By the end of the workshop, participants will have the skills and knowledge to develop and implement effective behavioral strategies in a variety of settings, such as in school or the home. This session is aligned with the Instructional Strategies component(s) of the TEA-required self-assessment.
February Session - This session will explore how graphic organizers can be used to support thinking, learning, and communication across academic and functional routines. Participants will also learn how behavior contingency maps can clarify expectations, help students make connections between behavior and outcomes, and reduce challenging behaviors. This session is aligned with the Instructional Strategies component(s) of the TEA-required.

Teacher - Special Education, Charter School Personnel, Diagnosticians, LSSP (Licensed Specialist in School Psychology), Speech Therapists, Teacher - Early Childhood/PreK/Kindergarten, Teacher - General Education
Objectives
By the end of this session, participants will be able to identify at least three antecedent interventions and explain how each can be used to prevent challenging behavior.
