Substance Use Insights: Prevention In Practice- MADD Power of Parent Program - 36068
This session will introduce the Power of Parents program, sponsored by Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), and provide practical examples of effective implementation. Participants will explore MADD’s free resources designed for parents and legal guardians, which equip caring adults with the tools to communicate clear expectations about substance use and impaired driving. Research shows that when adults engage in open, ongoing dialogue with youth, students are significantly less likely to engage in risky behaviors.
