Paraprofessionals - Roles and Responsibilities (Virtual 25-26) Virtual - 35257
Paraprofessionals are vital members of instructional teams. Known by a variety of titles and job descriptions, their roles and responsibilities have expanded as the need for additional instructional support has grown. This session will provide guidance on building effective working relationships, clarifying stakeholder roles and responsibilities, and using strategies to support communication and documentation in alignment with the state guidance document, *Working with Paraprofessionals*.

Objectives
The learner will identify the roles and responsibilities of paraprofessionals, understand how to build relationships and effectively communicate to ensure a student's needs are being met, and will examine the legal obligations of the IEP, including documentation, data collection, and accommodations/modifications.
