Science of Teaching Reading Leadership Cohort - 34934
The Science of Teaching Reading Leadership Cohort is an innovative professional development program designed to equip educational leaders with the latest research-based strategies in reading instruction. This cohort will focus on enhancing literacy outcomes for all students by fostering a deep understanding of the science behind reading as they participate in collaborative STR walks in classrooms.

Instructional Coaches/Support Specialists, Instructional Leaders, Assistant Principals, Central Office Administrators
Objectives
Participants will identify best practices based on the Science of Teaching Reading in phonemic awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension. Participants will make data-driven decisions to inform professional learning opportunities, instructional practices, and interventions. Participants will build a network of educators committed to improving literacy instruction and sharing best practices.
