Strong Foundations Planning: Kickoff - 34709

Navigate the launch of your LASO Cycle 3 Planning Grant! This session provides a comprehensive roadmap for LASO grant awardees to develop a strong instructional framework in reading or math. We'll discuss how to develop an instructional framework to guide key decisions in your LEA, a diagnostic of your current state of instructional materials and instruction, supporting and developing an instructional framework rollout plan. You'll get information about key dates, milestones, and activities specific to your LASO planning helping you understand what you'll receive and when and ensuring a seamless handoff and fulfilling your LASO mission. We'll discuss the necessary steps in crafting a winning communication plan to keep stakeholders informed, engaged, and empowered.

Administrators, campus leaders, and instructional coaches will gain insights into LASO grant requirements and the supports available throughout the planning year. They will also explore how this grant can help prepare their districts for, and ultimately assess the feasibility of, implementing open educational resources (OER).
