Emergent Bilingual (EB) Campus Leader Academy - 34133
This four-part academy series is for campus administrators. This academy offers the opportunity to expand your leadership toolkit and build your capacity by developing a comprehensive understanding of emergent bilingual education and gaining essential skills necessary to contribute to the enhancement of your Bilingual/ESL programs. Each session offers a unique opportunity to explore critical aspects of leadership and improvement within the emergent bilingual context. The expectation is that participants attend ALL four sessions.
Session 1: LPAC (Language Proficiency Assessment Committee)
Session 2: Appraiser Look-Fors
Session 3: Emergent Bilingual Program Implementation
Session 4: CBLI (Content-Based Language Instruction)

Objectives
Campus administrators will expand their leadership toolkit by attending all four sessions of the academy to gain a comprehensive understanding of emergent bilingual education. By the end of the series, participants will be able to apply essential skills and knowledge related to LPAC processes, effective appraisal practices, EB program implementation, and content-based language instruction to enhance their Bilingual/ESL programs.
