This workshop is designed to efficiently deliver the background knowledge needed to successfully diagnose, group, and teach emerging and struggling readers in grades 2-8.
This session aligns with the FAPE and Intervention component(s) of the TEA-required self-assessment.

4. Functional teaching strategies to provide age/grade-appropriate decoding
5. Progress monitoring tools to measure growth
6. Strategies for using manipulatives to engage students
