Bite-Sized Transition Components - 32982

The Student-Centered Transitions Network developed three synchronous trainings related to transition in the Individualized Education Program (IEP). A team of ESC Transition Specialists will virtually deliver training on Transition Assessments, Postsecondary Goals, and Coordinated Set of Activities. By the end of this training, participants will be able to appropriately identify transition assessments for a variety of students and understand how to use the transition assessment results to develop the transition plan, how to write postsecondary goals that support student’s strengths, interests, preferences, and needs, and will know the importance of a coordinated set of activities within the transition plan. Follow-up support for all titles will be available upon request for interested participants. Please sign up for follow-up assistance at https://forms.gle/YSsdMJXNbAv2nwAT7. This session is aligned with the Transition component(s) of the required TEA self-assessment.
