Multi Tiered System of Support- VIRTUAL Training & Implementation Series 2023-2024 Virtual - 32391
The Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework can be considered the umbrella for other support systems, such as data-based individualization (DBI), Universal Design for Learning (UDL), response to intervention (RtI), and positive behavior intervention and support (PBIS). An effective MTSS framework considers the variability of learners, supports in place, and equal access to the general curriculum. Through MTSS, schools identify students needing additional support and provide them with evidence-based interventions to reduce academic and behavioral gaps.
This series will lead participants through selected TIER Network pathways for MTSS. Sessions include MTSS Overview, MTSS Roles & Responsibilities, Examples of MTSS Implementation, Crating an Instructional Program, Crating the Assessment Plan, and Your MTSS Plan. This series will guide campus-based MTSS leaders through conceptualizing and implementing MTSS.
These sessions align with the FAPE and Intervention component(s) of the TEA-required self-assessment.
Sessions will be delivered via ZOOM with follow-up through discussion and/or collaboration opportunities.
