Rookie School for Secondary Math: Talking Math (at Northwest ISD) - 31385
Using the definition of literacy, this session will focus on mathematical literacy and discourse. Rigorous routines like Which One Doesn't Belong?, Open Middle, and Notice and Wonder will build the foundation of student collaboration and communication in class. This session will be hosted at Gene Pike Middle School, 2200 Texan Drive Justin, Texas 76247. It is free for all Instructional Solutions and Support contract districts.
