TexQuest: Promote Visual and Media Literacy Skills with ImageQuest - 30996
"A picture is worth a thousand words." This age-old idiom highlights what the ELAR TEKS emphasize: the importance of working with students to develop visual and media literacy skills (e.g., the ability to interpret and create meaning from information presented by images or other graphic elements).
This professional development will focus on best practices for school and classroom implementation of Britannica ImageQuest and on using digital image content paired with strategies and activities that promote visual and media skill development.
