Bite-Size Summer Learning: Inclusion IEPs, Oh My! - 29518
Inclusion what? Have you ever felt stuck as you write an IEP goal? This session will define inclusion and discuss the critical elements of an inclusion goal using time frame, condition, behavior, and criterion to guide alignment to state standards. Join us to examine the characteristics of authentic collaboration between special education and general education teachers and to develop a blueprint for writing appropriate inclusion goals.

Objectives
Participants will learn to develop and recognize appropriate IEP goals that presume competence and communicate high expectations for learners with disabilities.
Participants will learn how to write individualized goals aligned with state standards and focus on students accessing the general education curriculum.
