Statewide SLP Webinar #2: Practical Intervention Strategies and Materials for SLPs Serving English Learners with Language Impairment - 28167
This workshop focuses on practical strategies and materials for SLPs who serve ELLs (English Language Learners) with language impairments. The information will help clinicians who serve preschool and elementary students from any cultural-linguistic background. Participants will receive easy-to-implement, fun, and effective ideas for helping ELL students who are learning English as well as coping with language impairments. The session will focus on increasing oral and written language skills and on collaborating with classroom teachers. Relating IEP benchmarks and therapy goals to standards will be reviewed.
