Promoting Progress: Success Criteria and Self-Assessment - 27799
In this session, participants will build on their knowledge of learning targets from session 2 - The One Sentence Lesson Plan. It is not a requirement to have attended Session 2, but some information will be based on that session. Participants will understand how clear success criteria aligned to the learning objective and TEKS increase both teacher and student clarity, leading to greater learning outcomes, productivity, and student ownership of learning. They will also learn how to incorporate student self-assessment into their weekly plans to empower student's understanding of their learning progressions. Participants will create their own success criteria and student self-assessment based on an existing lesson plan.
