Bite-Sized Summer Learning Series: Preference Assessments - 27794
Have two hours? Then come join us this summer as we offer a series of mini sessions on evidence-based strategies that will help you improve student learning. The intended outcome is that participants will increase their repertoire of learning strategies that have been shown to be effective for learners with unique learning needs.
Have you ever wondered what your student wants? The teacher of a student with complex communication needs may find it difficult to find items/activities that motivate because they may not be able to make preferences easily known. Preference assessments allow the teacher to discover what possible reinforcers a student prefers. Participants will learn and practice different types of preference assessments in this session.
