Speech-Language Pathology Summer Conference 2021- Live Online - 27524

The Speech-Language Pathology Summer Conference 2021 is a one-day event dedicated to providing professional development to ESC Region 11 Speech-Language Pathologists and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants. This year, Scott Prath, M.A., CCC-SLP, will present Ethical Management of the SLP's Workload: A Focus on Literacy and Classroom Curriculum. Mr. Prath will outline a three-year study conducted in a large suburban district examining caseload, workload as well as assessment and dismissal procedures. He will discuss the results of this study and provide a framework for ethically managing the workload of a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist. Mr. Prath will also discuss service delivery options that foster collaboration, connection, and generalization. Each participant will receive a digital copy of Curriculum-Based Speech Therapy Activities Book Volumes 1 and 2 as well as Literacy-Based Speech and Language Therapy Activities Book. These digital books include field-tested templates in order for SLPs to develop literacy-based materials with minimal effort! ASHA CEUs will be provided. Ethics CEUs will be included.
