Braille Transcription: Focus on Foreign Language - 26536
Braille Transcription: Focus on Foreign Language Worksheets is an interactive webinar for teachers of students with visual impairments and braille transcribers. Using a Zoom webinar connection, participants can experience hands-on learning in producing braille using their own embossing equipment and software in their school. The webinar will be presented by Susan O'Brien, an expert in Braille transcription from Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Participants are encouraged to submit questions or worksheets to Ms. O'Brien before and during the workshop.
**This workshop will not teach the Braille Code. Participants are expected to know braille before attending.

Prerequisite/Special Notes
Must be a Braille Transcriber or Certified Teacher of the Visually Impaired.
Objectives
Participants in this workshop will learn how to create documents in braille and to develop tactile graphics. The workshop is designed primarily for participants who previously completed an introductory Duxbury training.
