Paraprofessionals: Roles and Responsibilities and Tier 2 Behavior Supports (ESC) - 36233

Paraprofessionals play a vital role in supporting students and instructional teams. This interactive session will provide clear guidance on roles and responsibilities, effective communication, and documentation practices aligned with state guidance. Participants will also learn practical behavior management strategies, including understanding behavior functions, using proactive supports, reinforcing positive behavior, and supporting teacher-led plans. Attendees will leave with ready-to-use tools to strengthen student relationships and team collaboration. This session is aligned with FAPE, IEP Implementation, Instructional Strategies, and LRE components of the TEA-required self-assessment.
