Braille Production Webinar Series: Tactile Graphics for Early Learners, Grades K-3 - 24446

Early learners and beginning braille readers have unique needs in the development tactile skills to interpret tactile graphics. This webinar will address those needs and discuss the development of tactile skills. Using a Zoom webinar connection, the webinar will be presented by Susan O'Brien, an expert in Braille production from Texas School for the Blind and Visually Impaired. Participants are encouraged to submit questions or worksheets to Ms. O'Brien before and during the workshop. **This workshop will not teach the Braille Code. Participants are expected to know braille before attending the webinar.

Objectives
Braille Transcribers and/or Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments will learn how to create documents in braille and to develop tactile graphics. The workshop is designed primarily for participants who previously completed an introductory Duxbury training.
