The CPI Blended Learning Package is designed for participants completing either the Full Instructor Training or Refresher Training. Participants will first complete a series of online modules, followed by a face-to-face training session at ESC Region 11. During the training, participants will learn to recognize the warning signs that often precede student escalation into crisis, apply verbal de-escalation strategies, and practice techniques that promote student safety and security. To receive certification from the Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), participants must successfully complete all online modules, participate in the face-to-face training, and demonstrate the required competencies. Participants must register by November 6, complete all online modules by November 11, and attend the in-person training at ESC Region 11 on November 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
