The McKinney-Vento Course for Child Nutrition Staff (Online) Online - 37141

Enhance your understanding of the McKinney-Vento Act with this self-paced, online course specifically designed for child nutrition staff. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: understand the purpose of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act; define homelessness under the McKinney-Vento Act; recognize key indicators that aid in identifying students experiencing homelessness; and understand and ensure the implementation of free lunch requirements for McKinney-Vento students. Participants will also be able to identify and use the school system's McKinney-Vento liaison for reporting and addressing suspected cases of student homelessness.
