This four-part in-person series is designed specifically for new Emergent Bilingual (EB) program leaders in Region 11 who are in their first through third year in the role. Participants should be the individuals responsible for programmatic decision-making and ensuring federal and state compliance within their school system. Through collaborative discussions, participants will develop foundational knowledge of Bilingual, ESL, and Title III program requirements while strengthening systems and processes that support compliant, effective, and sustainable program implementation. Sessions will focus on key topics essential to successful program leadership, equipping participants with tools, resources, and strategies aligned with current state and federal expectations. This series is intended to build the capacity, confidence, and leadership skills of new EB program leaders by providing timely and relevant support to promote high-quality services and positive outcomes for Emergent Bilingual students.
