Introduction to an IEP - 36907

Have you ever wondered about the purpose of an IEP and what you need to know related to IEP development? This session will help you understand the components of an Individualized Education Program (IEP) and the importance of IEPs in guiding instruction, providing appropriate supports and services, and helping students with disabilities succeed in their learning. General and special education teachers will also learn more about their roles in preparing for an ARD/IEP meeting, what to expect during the meeting, and best practices for implementing IEPs afterward. In addition, participants will be provided with resources they can reference for additional guidance.

Objectives
