Leading Emergency Response for Nurses (LERN) Series - 35916

A four part training designed to equip school nurses with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to build and lead campus-wide medical emergency response. Each four hour session combines interactive learning, real world practice, and collaboration with local partners so nurses can build and sustain a strong medical emergency response team at their schools.

Objectives
By the end of the series, participants will be able to: Build and lead a campus medical emergency response team. Develop and practice clear protocols for common school medical emergencies. Strengthen communication and coordination with staff and community partners. Apply the preparedness cycle to improve prevention, response, and recovery. Create a campus specific emergency response plan with actionable next steps.
