Science Academy for Grades 6-8: Day Two: Force, Motion, and Energy - 35777

Join ESC Region 11 for an in-depth exploration into middle school science curriculum and instruction. In Day Two of the Science Academy, teachers will explore topics within the force, motion, and energy strand, applied to the science and engineering practices (SEPs) and recurring themes and concepts (RTCs). Topics covered in this session will include model development, science vs engineering, scientific investigations, graphing, types of energy, energy transformations, wave motion, and electromagnetic radiation.
