Symbols to Sentences and Community-Based Instruction for Students with Complex Access Needs - 35572

This professional learning session is for teachers supporting students with complex access needs. In this workshop, participants will explore five key areas to building a strong literacy foundation: Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) & Fun Activities, Technology, Multisensory Learning, Personalized Learning, and Tech Tools for Everyday Life. Participants will identify why and how to make community based instruction happen in and out of the classroom in a meaningful way that will positively impact student outcomes.
