Region 11 NEW EB Program Leader Academy Virtual - 35503
This four-part virtual series is designed specifically for new Emergent Bilingual (EB) program leaders in Region 11 who are in their first through third year in the position. Participants should be the individuals responsible for programmatic decisions and for ensuring federal and state compliance within their LEA or charter school. Each session will focus on building foundational knowledge of Bilingual, ESL, and Title III program requirements, while providing practical guidance to support the development of compliant and effective systems and processes.
The series aims to build the capacity and confidence of new EB program leaders by offering timely, relevant support aligned with state and federal expectations.

Objectives
By the end of this four-part series, participants will be able to identify key federal and state requirements for Bilingual, ESL, and Title III programs and understand their responsibilities as EB program leaders in ensuring district or charter compliance. Participants will also learn to access and use available resources to support program monitoring and improvement, while increasing their confidence and leadership capacity in managing EB programs.
