LPAC Compliance Series: PEIMS Coding for Emergent Bilingual Students Virtual - 35485
This virtual series is designed exclusively for EB program leaders and campus LPAC administrators to support compliance with Texas LPAC requirements. Participants will gain critical updates and guidance related to the identification of Emergent Bilingual (EB) students, PEIMS coding, LPAC/ARD collaboration, state assessment decisions, reclassification, and monitoring processes.
The session will also offer dedicated time for questions based on participants’ prior review of TEA’s PEIMS guidance documents. Please note: this is not a “training-of-trainers” (TOT) session and is intended solely for the designated EB program leader and campus LPAC administrator.

Objectives
Upon reviewing TEA's LPAC guidance documents, EB program leaders and campus LPAC administrators will identify and apply required PEIMS codes for Emergent Bilingual (EB) student status, ensure accurate data entry, differentiate between program models, recognize LPAC’s role in data accuracy, and resolve common coding errors to ensure program compliance.
