New to Team Transition 25-26 Cohort Monthly Meetings - 35420
Are you new to the world of transition services and being a Transitioned and Employment Designee (TED)? Join our New to Team Transition Monthly Meet-Ups designed to support educators, TEDs, and transition specialists as they navigate the essentials of transition planning, compliance, and best practices. Each session will provide a space to learn foundational concepts, problem-solve real-world challenges, and network with fellow professionals. Through guided discussions, resource sharing, and expert insights, participants will build confidence in their role and develop strategies to enhance transition services in their LEA. This session is aligned with the secondary transition and graduation component(s) of the TEA-required self-assessment and SPP Indicators 13 and 14.

Objectives
By the end of this series, learners will be able to describe the essential components of effective transition planning, identify key state and federal requirements related to transition services, apply general strategies to support positive postsecondary outcomes for students, collaborate with school staff and community partners to enhance transition services, and access and utilize tools and resources to strengthen transition practices.
