Scottish Rite for Children (SRC) Take Flight: A Comprehensive Intervention for Students with Dyslexia Retraining (Part 1) - 34913

This session provides a valuable opportunity for individuals previously trained to the therapist level to receive instruction in Take Flight: A Comprehensive Intervention for Students with Dyslexia, preparing them to effectively deliver the curriculum. Developed by the staff of the Center for Dyslexia at Scottish Rite for Children, Take Flight is a comprehensive, research-based curriculum designed to support students with dyslexia. It builds upon the proven success of three earlier intervention programs created by the same team: Alphabetic Phonics, the Dyslexia Training Program, and the Scottish Rite for Children Literacy Program. As the first in a two-part training series, Part 1 focuses on Books 1 through 4 of the Take Flight program. This retraining ensures fidelity to the Take Flight approach and supports continued excellence in dyslexia intervention. This session is aligned with the Dyslexia, FAPE, and IEP Implementation components of the TEA-required self-assessment.
