This session will provide an in-depth look at the regulations and guidelines that govern services for migratory students at the local level. Participants will explore how these policies align with federal and state requirements, learn strategies for ensuring compliance, and discuss ways to advocate for policies that support equitable access to education. Objectives
1. By the end of the session, participants will identify at least two specific local policies that impact migratory students and discuss their practical application.
2. During the 60-minute session, participants will draft an outline for reviewing or updating a local policy related to migratory students within the next quarter.
