Field Supervisor Coaching Training - Virtual - 34294
Field Supervisor Coaching Training is the state training for those who will be supervising Advanced Degree Candidates (Principals, Superintendents, Counselors, Diagnosticians, Librarians). It is designed to provide guidelines and instruction for field supervisors who support candidates seeking certification in an area other than classroom teacher (principal, superintendent, counselor, etc.) and who are participating in practicum experiences through educator preparation programs (EPPs). Developed to meet the requirements of TAC 228.35 (h), this section requires that supervision of each candidate shall be conducted with the structured guidance and regular ongoing support of an experienced educator who has been trained as a field supervisor. ** This course is NOT for teaching candidate supervisors. This course will be held virtually via Zoom.

Objectives

Field Supervisor Coaches will also know how to identify and share valuable resources and strategies that enhance administrator practices.
