Participants will understand the key points and components of Content-Based Language Instruction. They will practice strategies that can be immediately implemented in secondary ELAR and Social Studies classrooms with Emergent Bilingual students.

Objectives
1. Participants will implement several Content-Based Language Instruction best-practices by creating a Talk Task for either English Language Arts or Social Studies aligned to specific TEK(s) and ELP(s). 2. Participants will give and receive feedback to other participants based on their completed Talk Task and make edits or revisions based on this feedback.
