Adapting Books for Multilevel Learners - 33024
This training will focus on creating accessible adaptive books for your students. You will utilize a template and materials on hand to make interactive books. Participants will discover access to free high-contrast digital books and identify resources to use with their personal creations. Participants will use these resources to create their own high-contrast digital picture tactile or object book.
Participants are requested to bring their technology device to create digital books.
This session is aligned with the Instructional Strategies components of the TEA-required self-assessment.

Objectives
Participants will recognize the need to adapt age-appropriate texts for learners with varying levels of curriculum access points.
Participants will learn how to create a standards-based grade level text with multiple delivery methods.
Participants will create two adaptive books for current students on their caseload.
