In early childhood classrooms, young learners are at a prime stage to explore and build connections between English and Spanish. Cruzando puentes is a hands-on session designed to empower early childhood educators with strategies to support and develop cross-linguistic connections using oral language development, building background knowledge, translanguaging and intentional language bridging techniques.
