EB Progress Monitoring for TELPAS - 32228
This three-part series is for Emergent Bilingual program district-level leaders. In this series, participants will learn the essential actions of EB progress monitoring, acquire knowledge of the state and federal requirements for EBs, and examine local processes and tools for progress monitoring EBs in state assessments. Participants will be given opportunities to discuss, apply the learning, and plan for their own implementation of an EB progress monitoring system. Data Recognition Corporation, publisher of LAS Links, will join us to lead us through several language domains and researched-based instructional strategies that will focus on the delivery of instruction and promote student language growth. Participating in this cohort will include setting a goal for implementing a progress monitoring system that will include checkpoints in sessions two and three.
The expectation is that participants attend ALL three sessions (One in-person and two virtual). No partial credit will be awarded. Lunch will be provided.

Part 2: Follow-Up session - Virtual (Spring)
