Enhancing Instructional Opportunities for Immigrant Students: Welcoming, Enrolling, and Instructing Immigrant Children and Youth (Virtual) - 30148
In this session, participants will explore activities and services that Title III, Part A-funded local educational agencies (LEAs) may implement to enhance the instructional opportunities of immigrant children and youth.

				Objectives
						1. Participants will learn the federal definition of an immigrant student, how to code them in PIEMs and how to ensure that they are properly monitored to ensure they are receiving all of the resources required under Title III.
2. Participants will review a number of research-based best practices to utilize with immigrant students to ensure their success in language and content acquisition while meeting their affective and cultural needs.
