Do All Your Students have Equal Access to CTE? Office of Civil Rights Best Practices - 27450

Methods of Administration (MOA) is the state of Texas monitoring for Department of Education requirements under the Office of civil rights. Join us as we explore what the expectations are, what will be looked at in an MOA visit, and how to ensure your LEA has policies and procedures to ensure your students have equitable access to your programs. This is an administrative-level look at expectations and MOA prep, if you were to receive a visit from TEA. The MOA was updated significantly in the 2020-2021 school year to align with the new Strengthening Career and Technical Education for the 21st Century (Perkins V) law.
