Show Me the Money: Helping Students and Families Conduct Effective Scholarship Searches - 27082
This session is intended to equip counselors with skills to teach students and parents how to effectively search for scholarships by creating and executing a plan of action, conducting targeted searches, writing effective essays, and exploring other tips to increase their chances of earning those college dollars.
Nationally recognized speaker Gabrielle McCormick is the founder and CEO of The Scholarship Informer. She has personally earned over $200,000 in scholarships and not only graduated from college debt-free but was able to pursue her doctorate at the age of 23, funded completely by grants and scholarships. Today she is on a mission to teach everything she knows about scholarship searching to students and parents so that they, too, can achieve their higher education goals. This session is not eligible for LPC credit.
