The McKinney-Vento Course for Transportation Staff Online - 37022

Enhance your understanding of the McKinney-Vento Act with this self-paced online course designed specifically for transportation staff. Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to: understand the purpose of the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act; examine educational barriers and their impact on students experiencing homelessness; define homelessness under the McKinney-Vento Act; and recognize key indicators that help identify students experiencing homelessness. Participants will also be able to identify and contact the school system's McKinney-Vento liaison to report and address suspected cases of student homelessness.
