In this asynchronous, online course, ECI of North Central Texas Service Providers will be presented with foundational information on appropriate services for children who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH) and blind or visually impaired (BVI), ages birth to three years old, and their families.

Objectives
Participants will list the effects of hearing differences and visual impairments on children from birth to 3 years old. Participants will identify two reasons why it is important to include a Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and a Teacher of the Visually Impaired when providing services to children who are DHH and BVI.
