The Introduction to Leadership course for principal certification serves as a foundational experience for aspiring educational leaders, offering a comprehensive overview of the principles, practices, and responsibilities of school leadership. This course is designed to help participants develop a deep understanding of the essential skills required to lead schools effectively, from fostering academic excellence to creating a supportive and inclusive school culture. Completion of this course is required to be able to get access to subsequent courses.

Must be accepted into the GoLead11 Principal Program.
Objectives
The principal certification candidate will be introduced to the concepts of key leadership principles and practices such as school management, instructional leadership, and fostering an inclusive, positive school culture. Participants will be provided foundational, practical tools for decision-making, data analysis, and building collaborative relationships to drive student success.
