The Annual Insight Exchange: Meeting for Professionals Serving Students with Visual Impairments - 36147

This interactive networking meeting brings together Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments, Teachers of Students with Deafblindness, Orientation and Mobility Specialists, and Braille Transcribers to share experiences, strengthen collaboration, and build supportive contacts. Participants will engage in a focused presentation focused on AT (Assistive Technology) tools and assessments and the Expanded Core Curriculum, followed by open discussion and peer problem-solving. Join colleagues to connect and reflect, and leave with refreshed strategies and resources to enhance one's impact in the field.

Objectives
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to identify 2 AT (Assistive Technology) devices that are used on a daily basis in a variety of classrooms. By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to state three ways the Expanded Core Curriculum is beneficial for students with visual impairments.
